2023年のファン投票復刻シリーズの第1弾は、Stoneファン垂涎の2002年当時レシピを再現した初代Ruination IPA！Ruinationは世界で初めてパッケージ商品として通常販売されたWest Coast Double IPAとして知られており、その圧倒的な苦味とボディは当時のビアギークの間でも賛否両論（否が多数派であったようですが）でした。これを飲まずしてWest Coast IPAは語れません。
色味はクリアで深い黄金色。松の樹液に柑橘が交わったようなアロマ。口に含むとホップ由来の鮮烈な樹液感と軽めのモルトの味わい、そしてほんのりとアルコールの温もりが顔を出し、フィニッシュまで長く強烈に残る苦味。
